    About

    The ‘Guildford Chalk’ groundwater body (GWB) is a new GWB for 2013 (refer to ‘New Building Blocks’) that resides in the Chalk that crops out between Farnham in the west and East Horsley in the east. In the east, the chalk crops out as a broad dip slope, part of the North Downs, and dips northwards into the London Basin. In the west, between Farnham and Guildford, the North Downs takes the form of the Hog’s Back, northerly dips becoming severe (>45°) and the chalk outcrop narrows to
