    Only a small proportion of the Tweed management catchment - beyond the operational catchment of the River Till lies within England. Consequently the Tweed is largely considered a Scottish river and is included within the Solway-Tweed River Basin District, co-ordinated by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.
