About this subsection

This subsection starts at the mouth of Lydney Harbour (west) and ends at the mouth of Lydney Harbour (east), following the Lyd River to the crossing of the A48 trunk road. Lydney provides a centre of local services and trade to the surrounding area as well as transport links to other regional towns and cities. Small parts of Lydney are at risk from flooding.
