About
The river Yare rises south of Dereham close to the village of Shipdham, and then flows east towards Norwich. It has two major tributaries, the river Tiffey which flows north through Wymondham and joins the Yare at Barford, and the river Tas, which flows north through Long Stratton before joining the Yare at Trowse.
