Henleaze Lake is a groundwater-fed former quarry, approximately 400 metres by 30 metres, and ranging in depth from 3 metres to 6 metres. There are no sewage overflows, surface water outfalls or identified freshwater inputs into the lake. However, water quality can be adversely affected following heavy rain.
