Permanent advice against bathing is in place at Clacton (Groyne 41). Clacton (Groyne
41) is no longer designated as a bathing water under the Bathing Water Regulations
2013 because water quality has been classified as Poor for five consecutive years
and cannot be improved to meet the minimum standard of Sufficient required for all
bathing waters.
