About
The River Dove catchment rises on Axe Edge, to the south of Buxton in the north of the catchment and flows generally south-eastwards to its confluence with the River Trent north of Burton upon Trent. The largest town is Leek and other urban centres include Cheadle, Ashbourne, Uttoxeter, Hilton and Tutbury.
