The River Perry arises in the hills above Oswestry, extending from Hengoed in the north, to Ellesmere in the east down to Mytton in the south, passing through the villages of Gobowen and Ruyton XI Towns before joining the River Severn. The Tern flows through the town of Market Drayton and is joined by several tributaries including the Roden, Meese and Strine before joining the River Severn.
