    About

The Sussex Transitional and Coastal (TraC) operational catchment includes two coastal water bodies, the Sussex Coast and Sussex East Coast. It stretches from west of the Manhood Peninsular in West Sussex, to Dungeness in Kent, covering the management catchments of Arun and Western Streams, Adur and Ouse, Cuckmere and Pevensey Levels and River Rother. The operational catchment flows into a Special Protection Area (SPA) in Pagham Harbour and encompasses part of the Dungeness SAC and Dungeness to Pett Level SPA. Both water bodies in the sub catchment are heavily modified, and only fail for mitigation measures not being in place.
