    About

    The catchment incorporates the River Avon and tributaries including the Bow Brook, Badsey Brook, Carrant Brook, Washbourne Brook, and River Isbourne. Agriculture is the dominant land use activity characterised by medium livestock farms supplemented with arable crops, to large scale horticultural and arable businesses, particularly around the Vale of Evesham. Urban centres include Redditch to the north, Evesham in the east, Tewkesbury in the west and the historic Cotswold villages of Broadway and Winchcombe in the south. Conservation designations include Bredon Hill and Dixon Wood as Special Areas of Conservation and the catchment lies within a Nitrate Vulnerable Zone
