Due to a blockage/pump failure the water companies sewerage network a screened and de-gritted effluent discharge was made from the 4km long sea outfall at Seaton Carew. The Environment Agency has suspended its routine monitoring Seaton Carew North Gareth until further notice. Investigative samples are being taken at the Bathing Water on the morning of 15/06/2016. The Local Council have been advised.
