About
The source of the river Frome is the Cotswold hills. It passes through predominantly grassland before flowing through the town of Stroud. Along its length the Frome bifurcates and is intertwined with the stroudwater canal. At Whetenhurst it splits into 2 with the majority being directed to the Gloucester/Sharpness canal and remainder to the river Severn.
