The Beverley Brook rises near Worcester Park and travels through the London boroughs of Sutton, Merton, Kingston and Richmond before reaching the Thames at Putney. The river runs through Special Areas of Conservation, Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. Although the catchment is highly urbanised with over 880,000 people living within the 4 London boroughs, the large open spaces create an attractive river corridor.
