    About

    This is a rural catchment, characterised by 110 km2 of mixed woodland, situated between the rivers Wye and Severn. It is a popular tourist destination. The main urban conurbations are Lydney, Coleford and Cinderford, with significant manufacturing in the latter two. There is mixed farming carried out alongside the Severn estuary. The largest watercourses are the river Lyd/Cannop Brook and Cinderford Brook.
