Welcome to the RPA Land Data

This service allows farmers, land managers and land agents to obtain a current snapshot of their land data held by RPA by consuming it as a REST API Map Service.

The datasets that are available here are:

  • Land Parcels – the registered field boundaries
  • Land Covers – the classified land cover features which fall within the field boundaries. Land cover is not as detailed as land use
  • Hedges – hedges that are recorded for Sustainable Farming Incentive and Countryside Stewardship

There is no need to register, but to ensure we comply with Ordnance Survey licencing rules the datasets will be made available on an individual business basis to the farmer, land manager or agent acting on behalf of the business, and you will be asked to accept the terms and conditions for the Ordnance Survey ‘Public Sector End User Licence’ before accessing the data.

You will then be presented with a summary of the land data, and options for previewing the data and generating links to the data which can be used in your farming or mapping software.
