Summary management approach
Erosion of cliffs essential to allow natural processes to remain active, maintain Site of Special Scientific Interest status and provide sediment to beaches downdrift. Longer term the environmental benefits of allowing cliffs to erode are to be weighed against the socio-economic impacts.
