Summary management approach
Establish a more sustainable position for the shoreline using an initial period of realignment. Limited intervention will then manage the anticipated ongoing narrowing of the beach to maintain its form and function as a defence over the longer term. Further studies will be required to better understand sediment transport and interdependencies with the adjacent shorelines at Hollesley Bay and East Lane.
