About
The Eden and Esk catchment is situated between two of Englands principal upland areas - the fells of the Lake District, and the Pennines. This catchment is a diverse area including high mountains, moorland and lowland valleys. The main land-use of the area is agriculture and the Eden Valley has some of the most productive agricultural land in Cumbria.
