Lineage

Report following a survey of two species within the Lundy Special Area of Conservation (SAC). The study was conducted to reassess the status of the pink sea fan (Eunicella verrucosa) and the sunset cup coral (Leptopsammia pruvoti). This reassessment objectives included presence/absence and abundance surveys for both species and the comaprison of the data with previous data to assess any changes from the baseline. Secondary objectives included investigating kelp composition within kelp biotopes and the distribution of the algal community at specific locations.
