This dataset is for data submitted into the Environment Agency by waste sites covered under the Materials Facility regulations: EPR Schedule 9 Part 2 (Material Facility) https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2016/1154/schedule/9/made. Covering the period January to December 2021. Sites covered under the Materials Facility regulations must sample for every 125 tonnes of mixed waste received detailing the percentages of target, non-target and non-recyclable material within the samples. They must also sample Specified Output Material- (a batch of material produced from the separating process of mixed waste material and made up of one of the following kinds of target material: paper, plastic, metal and glass) the sampling frequency for specified output material is dependent on the material grade in question.
