"Vegetation map of Bewick & Beanley Moors, an area of heathland on the Fell Sandstone of Northumberland, prepared according to the National Vegetation Classification (NVC). The work was undertaken by annotating hard-copy aerial photography in the field and then using these field notes and sketches as the basis for the preparation of an electronic map using Pitney-Bowes MapInfo software (v9.5).The work was undertaken to provide Natural England with information to enable the organisation to review the complement of upland SSSI in the Northumberland Sandstone Hills National Character Area. "
