MMO1136 Non Licensable Activities which occur in and around Marine Protected Areas

An ArcGIS .shp file containing spatial extents of non-licensable activities which occur in and around English MPAs. These have been mapped as part of project MMO1136, the aim of which was to develop a sufficiently robust evidence base to increase understanding of where non-licensable activities are occurring in English MPAs. The project identifies the extent of activities and at what levels of intensity they occur. This evidence will be used to inform future planning. The data generated is a snapshot of the known non-licensable activities that occur in each English MPA based on the local knowledge of the stakeholders who completed the online questionnaire or who attended one of the workshops. Where local knowledge was not available, the extent and intensity of non-licensable activities could not be captured and this is reflected in the intensity sheet (i.e. 0 = does not occur, ? = unknown). Furthermore, data was not gathered for all English MPAs, some data were only gathered from the online questionnaire, some data was only gathered by at the workshops, and some data was gathered online and then validated at the workshops.
