Lineage

APEM Ltd. and ARTOO Marine Biology Consultants were commissioned by Natural England to conduct repeat condition-monitoring of the coastal lagoons of significant conservation merit within the Solent and Isle of Wight region on the south coast of England. The methods employed within this study followed previous monitoring activities reporting on quantitative and qualitative characteristics of five key lagoonal quality features namely benthos, nekton, flora & fauna amongst vegetation, epifauna and physico-chemical condition. Quantitative macroinfaunal benthic samples were provided to Natural England to be analysed by Thomson Ecology
