Why Are The Risk Of Flooding From Reservoirs (Flood Speed, Depth And Extent) Datasets No Longer Available?

Created: 10 November 2021 Updated: 29 November 2023

The old Risk of Flooding from Reservoirs (Flood Speed, Depth and Extent) datasets are no longer maintained and have been removed to avoid confusion with the new RFMs. The new RFMs, have been produced using more reliable data sources and an improved methodology.

These datasets have been replaced with new Reservoir Flood Extents datasets, which are available from the Defra Data Services Platform.
