About this subsection

This subsection includes the shorelines of the islands Flat Holm and Steep Holm off the coast of Western-super-Mare. Both islands are attractions for visitors to the area. They are Sites of Special Scientific Interest and part of the wider Special Protection Area for sea birds in the Severn Estuary.
