Summary management approach
LT for Littlehampton Harbour to Poole Place is to allow the coastline to realign to a more naturally functioning system, whilst continuing to provide flood defence to the large hinterland floodplain. The area behind the dunes/defences is naturally low-lying, and is of high environmental importance; particularly SSSI.
