Summary management approach
Allow natural shoreline evolution to occur, with the exception of local activity to maintain (and if necessary improve or replace) existing discrete sections of defence (flood walls and embankments) to minimise flood risk to the various small settlements. Within the broader non-interventional approach there is also potential for localised intertidal habitat creation through active realignment of defences. Further studies are required.
